"Trust your intuition...
It is your spirit giving you directions"
-Beckon
Born and raised in the Bay Area, I take pride in giving back to the community by providing exceptional care to all my clients and patients.
My undergraduate work led me to work as a counselor at a group home and at a domestic violence shelter for women and their children. I also worked as the Director of High School Admissions at Heald College, where I provided numerous motivational presentations at various high schools.
Through my experiences, I decided I could make the biggest impact in the community by helping people through my professional health care skills. So in 2002, I started a private practice as a massage therapist working with people of all ages and a variety of health challenges. In 2003, I chose to become the primary caregiver (with the help of Hospice) during my grandmother's fight with cancer. After she passed, I completed a year-long voluntary internship at California Pacific Medical Center where I provided bedside massage to patients in the hospital and earned my Certificate in Integrative Medicine and Spirituality. During this time I also received specialized training to provide "skilled touch" to people living with cancer.

I enjoy meeting new people and for several years have given on-site chair massages at Stanford University and Alta Bates Summit Medical Centers. I also provide Care & Comfort Massages at Aegis of Moraga, an assisted living community, and more recently at Moraga Retreat Care Home.
With over 30 years of experience as a massage therapist and over 20 years of public speaking experience, I love to share what I have learned through my training and experience to benefit others. Over the years I have facilitated several seminars including topics such as:

-
The Benefits of Massage for People with Cancer
-
Self-Care for the Caregiver
-
Guided Meditation
-
How to Clear Physical and Emotional Clutter
-
Guided Chakra Clearing
-
The Seasons From a Chinese Medicine Perspective

In 2006, I began my journey to becoming a classical Chinese Medicine practitioner. This was one of the most difficult and rewarding things I have ever done. I studied at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, California. In 2011, after receiving my Master's Degree, I became a licensed acupuncturist in the state of California. I am truly honored to provide this holistic approach to people's health and well being. I include modalities such as moxabustion, cupping, gua sha, nutritional counseling and much more. In addition to working on peoples physical ailments, I also enjoy working on emotional and spiritual disharmonies, thus allowing for a fuller healing experience.

Continuing to grow not only as a practitioner, but also as a person, is fundamental to me. I am always looking to expand my skills and knowledge to provide the very best care for my patients. I pride myself on providing excellent patient care with the highest level of integrity, professionalism and compassion.
